About Zodiac Match

Zodiac Match is a small, independent astrology project. We started it because the one-line daily horoscopes most apps surface flatten what is, at its best, a beautifully detailed map of personality, timing, and relationship dynamics.

Every chart on this site is computed from your actual birth data using accurate astronomical libraries — not lookup tables — and every interpretation is grounded in traditional Western astrology. We treat the results as a mirror for reflection, not a prediction engine.

Who writes this

Zodiac Match is built and written by one person — me, Noah. I'm a software developer by trade and an astrologer by long, slightly embarrassing habit: I started reading charts in my early twenties to prove a friend's Saturn-return theory wrong, failed to prove it wrong, and never really stopped. Somewhere past the hundredth chart it became the thing people hand me at parties along with their birth time. At one point I read forty charts in a single month and wrote up what actually held across them — that experiment lives on the blog.

I should be plain about credentials: I am not a certified astrologer, and since no licensing board exists for astrology anywhere, treat anyone claiming otherwise with the same caution you'd give the claim itself. What I offer instead is transparency. The calculators use real ephemeris math, the scoring weights are published in full on the methodology page, and when a judgement call goes into the numbers — like weighting Moon synastry above the Sun — I say so and explain why.

My own bias, so you can correct for it: I read planets-first, tropical, Western; I care more about Moons and Venus–Mars contacts than sun signs; and I think astrology works best as a language for noticing patterns you were already half-aware of — not as a machine for predicting Tuesdays. Every word on this site is written by me, including the interpretations inside the tools.

How we stay free

We earn a small commission when readers buy gemstones through our affiliate links. We also may display ads in the future. Your birth data is never sold and, until you choose to create an account, never leaves your browser.
