Leo season, house by house — where the spotlight lands for your rising sign

The sun crosses into Leo this week. A check-in for all twelve rising signs in the same spirit as the Gemini one — vibes-shaped, not law-shaped, as ever.
The sun moves into Leo right about now — today or tomorrow, depending on your time zone — and since the Gemini season version of this format was the most-replied-to thing I've written, we're making it a tradition.
Leo season is a month of wanting to be seen, and of noticing how you feel about wanting that. Where it lands depends on your rising sign, because the rising sets which house the sun is currently lighting up. Use your rising, not your sun — and if you don't know it, your birth chart will hand it to you in thirty seconds.
As ever: none of this is binding. All of it might be worth glancing at.
- Aries rising — fifth house. Peak season: romance, play, making things. You're allowed to be a little much. You were going to be anyway.
- Taurus rising — fourth house. The spotlight points home. Host something. Repaint something. Pride in your nest counts as pride.
- Gemini rising — third house. Your words get warmer and louder. Write the thing you've been circling; this is the month people actually read it.
- Cancer rising — second house. Money and worth. Ask for the number you flinched from typing. The flinch is the tell.
- Leo rising — first house. Your annual main-character month. Get the haircut. Take up space. People expecting "a lot" will not be disappointed, and that's fine.
- Virgo rising — twelfth house. The anti-spotlight: you'll want rest and privacy while everyone else parties. Honor it. Your season starts next month; this one is the green room.
- Libra rising — eleventh house. Friends and groups light up. Say yes to the invitations, especially the odd ones. One of them matters more than it looks.
- Scorpio rising — tenth house. Career visibility, whether requested or not. Decide in advance what you want to be known for, because someone's about to ask.
- Sagittarius rising — ninth house. The horizon itch: travel, study, a bigger story. Book something. Even a day trip resets the lens.
- Capricorn rising — eighth house. Shared resources and deep water. Unsexy spotlight, useful month: have the money conversation, sign the sensible paperwork.
- Aquarius rising — seventh house. The light lands on the chair across the table. Partnerships ask for warmth out loud, not implied. Say the quiet appreciation, verbatim.
- Pisces rising — sixth house. Routines, health, the daily machine. Glamorize the maintenance: good shoes, good sleep, the doctor's appointment you've been creatively forgetting.
One Leo-season note for everyone
Leo rules the heart, and the season's real question is less "am I being seen?" than "am I proud of what's visible?" If the answer's no, this is historically a strong month for changing the exhibit rather than the lighting.
Last month's Cancer season homework was tending the inner circle. This month, one notch outward: let the inner circle see you enjoy yourself. Apparently that's also a skill. I'm told it compounds.
