About this stone

Aquamarine, the blue-green variety of beryl, was carried by sailors as a talisman against rough sea — and it does similar work for the inner weather. It is a Moon-and-Mercury stone: it cools an overheated emotional channel and helps the throat say what the heart actually means. Especially useful when Moon-square-Mercury contacts in synastry turn small misreads into long silences.
