About this stone

Hematite is an iron oxide with a metallic mirror sheen — heavy in the hand, surprisingly cool to the skin. Iron, in classical correspondence, is Mars; but Hematite is Mars in repose. It is the stone for a relationship where the nervous system is the actual battleground: chronic reactivity, sleep loss, the snap before either partner knows what was said. Worn as a bracelet against the pulse traditionally.
