Tiger's Eye
Also called Tigerauge
Grounds Sun and Mars. For couples whose fire burns too hot.
About this stone
Tiger's Eye is a golden-brown chatoyant quartz, the silken sheen left behind when fibrous crocidolite is replaced by silica. It was carried by Roman soldiers as a courage stone — and in a chart context it does similar work: it grounds an ego-Mars pairing that has gotten reactive, the kind of relationship where every disagreement turns into a duel. Use it when fire elements dominate both charts and a brake is needed.
